***Minneapolis musician with a new
album on the way.***

There is a common theme that occurs in the conversations I have with family, friends, and to be honest, with anyone willing to talk with me about music.  That theme is that, even though most people admit to 'loving' music, most people have a hard time finding new music.

Part of the reason is not having the time to do so, but an even bigger part is that they don't know where to look or where to begin.  It was this common theme that ultimately led me to doing these posts.

Personally, I get so excited seeking out new music, and one of my favorite ways to do so is by, what I call, following the band's 'Family Tree'.

(I had started to write an explanation about this
process, and then it got long.  Too long!  Long enough that I have decided
to do a separate post on that over this weekend).

It was through this process that I came across Brad Senne.

After watching and hearing the video above, it confirmed the importance of people sharing their musical finds.  Here is an artist that has been under my nose this entire time, and I'm just finding him now.  Granted, no one told me of him, and I had to find him myself, but that is the point.  I spend a lot of time looking for awesome music like this.  Most other people don't.  Therefore, it is my duty, as a lover of music, to share this talented artist and his beautiful music with all of you.

Born and raised in Southern Minnesota, on the outskirts of a farming community, he got his start in the hardcore scene with a band called Picturesque.  Since then, he has moved into what most would consider the 'singer/songwriter' genre, drawing from his influences like Elliott Smith and Wilco.  Brad has released 4 solo albums under his name, and from what I can tell, two under the name Walker Fields and two as part of a band called Beight.

His upcoming release will add to Walker Fields' repertoire.

Both "Sing & Dance" and "Autumn's Hum" can be found on his fourth and most recent solo album, 2010's, Ariel Views.  I encourage you to visit his Facebook page, and click on his Band Profile, as you can also listen to two other tracks from the same album, "Weighted Wings" and "Frozen Pines".

With each passing day, I am amazed with how much great music there is out there for everyone to hear.  It is just a matter of getting it to their ears.

Please help me spread the word and share this new music with the people in your world because, chances are, they aren't sure where to start looking.

Please support this artist!!!
