Post #196: Cotton Jones - "Blood Red Sentimental Blues" and "Somehow To Keep It Going"

Post #196:  Brett Dennen put on a great show last night!  Videos and pictures will be posted this week.

Tonight I have the pleasure of seeing David Bazan, former front man for Pedro the Lion.  If you missed it, I posted him HERE a couple of weeks ago due to the release of his new album, Strange Negotiations.

Opening for Bazan will be Cotton Jones.

Based out of Maryland, Michael Nau started Cotton Jones Basket Ride as a solo project in 2007 after leaving the band Page France.  After releasing a few EPs, and adding band members, he dropped Basket Ride from the name and released two albums in 2009 and 2010.

"Blood Red Sentimental Blues" can be found on their 2009 release, Paranoid Cocoon.

"Somehow To Keep It Going" can be found on their newest 2010 release, Tall Hours In the Glowstream.
