Post #126 (Metal Monday #12): The Chariot - "Teach:"

Post #126 (Metal Monday #12): I have had the opportunity to see quite a few shows over my lifetime. Shows that fit all over the spectrum. From the super light...to the super heavy.

Regardless of the genre, all bands have a certain personality that they convey on stage. For some bands, they choose to be mellow, often times standing in one place, focusing on their instruments.

Then there is The Chariot: the exact opposite.

Having seen them twice, it is hard to explain what the experience is like. It is one of those things, where "you have to be there".

But I think this video gives a pretty good idea of what to expect.

Hands down, one of the most lively, energetic shows I have ever seen. It would be pretty hard to top it.

From Georgia, The Chariot was formed when vocalist Josh Scogin left another Christian band, Norma Jean in 2002.  Click HERE for my Norma Jean post from last month.

This song is from their third album released in 2009, Wars and Rumors of Wars.  They released their fourth full length album this last year.
