Post #105 (Metal Monday #9): White Zombie - "El Phantasmo and the Chicken-Run Blast-O-Rama"

Post #105 (Metal Monday #9): There are a lot of examples out there of when music runs in the family. It could be a parent passing on their musical talent to the next generation. Like Bob Dylan to Jakob Dylan.

It could also be a couple of siblings...or nine! Like the Jacksons: Rebbie, La Toya, Janet, Jackie, Tito, Jermaine, Marlon, Randy and of course Michael.

One of my favorite musical families is that of Rob Zombie.

Most people know Rob from his more recent solo work. Even fewer of us know him from his work directing films such as House of 1000 Corpses and The Devil's Rejects.

To me, he will always be the frontman to White Zombie. To this day, their 1995 final release, Astro Creep 2000, will go down as one of my top metal albums of all time.

Back to his musical family...his brother Spider One is the frontman for Powerman 5000 which is best known for their hit "When Worlds Collide".
